April and Mikey got into a game on their phones and Leo stood at the edge of the dock, hoping to maybe catch a glimpse of the creature.
Mikey looked up from his phone to look at him. “You look all dramatic right now Leo. Like you’re that guy from Moby Dick.”
“You’ve read Moby Dick?” April questioned.
“Nah, I just think the name is funny,” He smirked.
“I wanna know what we’re dealing with,” Leo explained. “Leatherhead said big, but we don’t know how big. You’ve seen how massive mutagen makes things in the forest. Who knows what could be waiting for us out there?”
“Boat’s on!” Donnie shouted triumphantly.
“Boat’s on!” Mikey yelled back.
“Boat’s on,” Leo repeated to himself.
They all gathered at the docks, Raph helping Donnie off the boat while Leatherhead fiddled with the controls.
“I’ll take it for a small run around,” Leatherhead told them. “I want to make sure it’s safe.”
“Even if it sinks, we can swim,” Mikey said. “Can I go? Please?”
“If you’d like, pequeño,” Leatherhead motioned for him.
“I’ll go too, then,” Leo followed Mikey onto the boat, tapping at his plastron.
“We might as well all go,” Raph rolled his eyes and hopped onto the boat, followed by Donnie and then April.
They all took their seats, Mikey bouncing excitedly in his.
“You’re shakin the whole boat, Mike,” Raph reached over and put his hand on his younger brother’s shoulder, stilling him.
“Isn’t it cool, though?!” Mikey grabbed onto Raph’s arm and began moving it around. Raph just sighed. “We’re going out on a boat, we’re gonna see the ocean! It’ll be awesome!”
Synopsis
After helping
Leatherhead set up on the beach, he asks for the
turtles help as he had spotted a large
Mutant out in the ocean that was too close and needed to be guided away from the mainland.
Donatello helps him fix up a boat and the all head out to sea to look for the monster.
Just as they spot the large, nessie-like beast, so do two unwanted guests.
Stockgen and the
Environmental Protection Force both show up in their own boats to try to capture the creature for their own reasons, finding the two of them at a stand off and arguing over which group has more rights to the character.
When Leathehead sees the EPF harming the creature, he goes into a rage and tries to attack the boat, forcing
Raphael and
Michelangelo do go after him. Donnie on the other hand tells
Leonardo that they still need to go through with their plan, and that he was going to go down and lure the mutant away from the boats.
Raph and Mikey try to stop Leatherhead, but he's too strong and Leatherhead ends up striking. The EPF retaliate by fireing into the water, which snaps LEatherhead out of it enough to push the boys to safey, as he is struck with bullets and goes limp. Meanwhile, the gunshots freak out the Nessie mutant, causing her to frantically swim away and inadvertently drag Donnie with it. When the cable snaps, Leo has no choice but to go in and rescue him.
By the time they all get back to the boat, the mutant has successfully escaped, but Leatherhead had not, as the EPF dragged his body on board and sped off. Stockgen would also leave empty handed, leaving the turtles alone and reeling from what just happened.
