Harendathanek is the holy sword of
Shadarak Mithranak, the
Dragonborn Paladin of
Bahamut who was part of the
Argent Circle. The sword was granted to him by Bahamut himself before the lead up to the Argent Circle’s battle with the
Tarrasque. The sword aided Shadarak by enhancing the power of the smites he channeled through it, and he actually struck the blow that brought the Tarrasque down.
Shadarak continued to carry the blade for many years following the Tarrasque's fall. Unfortunately, he disappeared after
The Rending, and it's assumed that he perished in that terrible cataclysm. The sword vanished, and the sword was lost. Recently, some evidence has come to light that the sword may now be in the
Abyss in the vaults of
Yeenoghu. Perhaps it only waits for the time for a hero to come and claim it.
