Maraliana ap Kadishai

Maraliana ap Kadishai was the last Esavola of the Eladrin realm of Tavanion. She is an extremely powerful Wizard, and a truly devious politician, descended in direct line from Gwyllan ap Kadishai. Her son and heir, Belerion ap Kadishai, is more of a warrior than she would’ve preferred, but she accepts that he has his own path to follow.

After the partial destruction of Gwyllan's Watch by the Tarrasque, Esavola Maraliana took as much of the city into the Feywild as she could. Following this devastation, she decided that the Eladrin would return to the Feywild completely.

Prince Belerion rejected this idea. He remains behind to rule those who could not leave, to rebuild Gwyllan’s Watch, and to aid those who face the Tarrasque instead of fleeing from it. After his death at the Battle of Worldbreaker's Howe, Maraliana returned long enough to bury her son, then proclaimed the land cursed before retreating back to the Feywild.
