Minstrel's Tarry

 

The Minstrel’s Tarry, often referred to as just “The Tarry”, is a tavern in the Summerlund town of Seowyn's Crossing. Situated at the great crossroads of two Crownways, the tavern is frequented by travelers who pass through town, as well as townsfolk who like to get the news from the outside world, or those with an adventurous streak.

The tavern is run by Keeper Talbot Holdfast, his wife Anna, and their family. Talbot is an older man who used to be part of the Road's End Garrison. As a result, the Tarry is also popular with garrison men when they come into town.

Although food isn’t prepared on site, the Tarry abuts Goodwife Janette Ableby‘s Cook House. Since Goodwife Ableby is Anna’s mother, they have a bargain to provide drink and food to each other’s establishments.
