Shield

The Shield is a Shardmind Fighter from Tavanion and a member of the Topaz Society. His travels in Keshwan brought him to the northern edge of the Desolation of Azmartheon where he fell victim to the call of the Fusion. He arrived roughly concurrent with the arrival of the Contemplative, and he was in danger of being assimilated, but the Windwalker was able to mentally assist him in resisting. When the Fusion was destroyed by the Fire Wasps, he remained behind to help sort out which shardminds had been lost to the Fusion’s depredations.
