Tanglefork Woods
A small woods east of the confluence of the Rivers Delimbyr and Greyflow.
Geography
An otherwise normal-seeming woods, the soil of the Tanglefork is now black as midnight, owing to the remains of the devils shredded by awakend treants that were strewn about in the final battle of the War of the Returned Regent .
History
Subjected to severe over-foresting during the five generations of Rensha rule of Loudwater from 1150-1317, the forest has since seen an unprecedented regrowth since the re-investment of the Green Regent overseeing the health of the Delimbyr Vale.
The new growth is prone to evil however, due to sowing of devil blood and flesh into the earth as an aftermath of the final battle of that war, and the woods are both now generally to dangerous to harvest, and have an unusally high concentration of treants to help mollify the anger, hatred, and bloodlust in the new growth.
