The Tumultuous South
The death of Bastion Holt would begin the slow decay of the Brotherhood of the Silver Shields and the Southern Salvae Empire as well. This decay would lead to Summer's Ide of 758 and that would start the near-decade long conflict pitting Houses Moss, Shaw, and Westman against Houses Faalcone, Ingram, and Harmon and by the end of the conflict less than half of these noble Houses would make it out of the war intact.

The events of Summer's Ide of 758 ATS were the inflection point for this near decade-long conflict. However, since the death of Bastion Holt the descendants of the Brotherhood of the Silver Shields were subject to infighting and internal conflicts that only accelerated the inevitable war.
