Scene: Alice Visiting Apartment
Alice has been spending a lot of time at my apartment of late. I haven't prodded, but if she needs to be away form her family that bad, I'm more than happy to have her company here. Some days it hits me just how much different it is to have a place for my self, when Everglade was always buzzing with activity, and I guess I start to miss it. But other days coming home and crashing on the couch in absolute silence is godsend!
I gave Alice one of my spare keys, so she can come and go as she pleases, and it feels nice to come home to her already hanging out here. I love that thought of my home as a safe place for my friends. That I can provide them with a little place of respite from everyday life.
I'm lucky Zeldine found such a bed big enough to accommodate the spontaneous sleepovers some nights, when both her and Alice are staying over. I should probably start charging them for supplies for how often at least one of them are here, but I wouldn't want to scare away good company.
