Rorrik'it

A town on the southwest edge of Medder Forest. Farmland mostly with a good sized wall surrounding. Not many visitors but it houses several notable figures such as the bard Faryfel who sang to the chieftain Gaxestol and united the people in defense from a group of Gruumsh-orcs in Medder Forest.   Nowadays it is known for its thieving dens. The Knot is said to have origins here, in theory and planning, before moving to Dalth'it. Corruption is a persistent issue, but many are either in league with them or are apathetic to them. Not many consider the threats real or dangerous. The rotating judges also seem to face hardship or death if they convict certain citizens of crimes.   The local duke, Adair Farniswol, is pitiable and ineffectual in dealing with the issues in the city. The underground powers believe he is inoffensively incompetent and wish to keep him on the throne so he isn't replaced by someone with some power and drawing further ire from the crown.   The Royal Court is aware of these occurrences, though since the crime and corruption seems localized in Rorrik'it they choose to do nothing at the time. The Knot in Dalth'it is not seen as an extension of Rorrik'it's influence.
