Hide's parents were very religious and she had a very religious upbringing. Hide rejected her upbringing and developed an interest in holistic tendencies, believing in healing crystals and astrology. During one of her graverobbing exploits, Hide discovered what appears to be an advanced device with an uncertain purpose - she discovered its purpose when it reacted to other arcane artifacts in the area and threw her and some others nearby to another location in space and time.

Hide came into the possession of a map to a legendary treasure, but she has not been able to discover what country it displays.
