Willonia
Now a figure of myth, Willonia was a Dryad who is said to have been transformed into the first green hag as punishment by the gods (legend variously blames Jopha the Verdant, Hunia, Camue the Jester or Ades the Mad) for sleeping with a hunter that she had been tasked with killing. Willonia and the Hunter is a popular myth in both elvish and orcish traditions across Valine, although it takes different forms.
Unlike the other major figures in hag mythology, there is little evidence for Willonia's actual existence, although a copse of twisted and malformed trees in western Briarra known colloquially as Willonia's Rest is a location where an early coven of green hags is known to have operated centuries ago according to contemporary elvish scrolls that have survived to the present day.
