Xarrekolp Bazaar

Named after the first prominent businessman of Visilargyian whose fortune elevated him to a status of nobility, this district is the Southern most entrance into the city. A true bazaar in every sense of the world, it was filled with all manner of shops, services, & businesses that catered to every possible imaginable. A large plaza square & main artery road into the city came through the district allowing for a vast quantity of wealth to pass through it. Several stores competed for the same customers while others worked in conjunction to gain greater profits. Many specialty shops appeared overtime due to take advantage of the heavy foot traffic. All manner of materials were used in this district as merchants worked to build up viable shops so that they could turn a profit. When The Voice of Reason came to the city, they discovered that most of the buildings in this portion of this city had not suffered from degradation and were still suitable for use. Voagl's Cathedral of Pleasure was also discovered to exist in the inner part of the district buy was not explored in the early days as it presented no danger at that time and seemed to hold back the negative aura in the district itself.
To the West is the Mahasp Garden district; to the North is the Yeok South; the East is the Steelf Market; and the South is the main artery into and out of the city. It is this district that The Voice of Reason has setup its base camp, the Guild Hub Zone, and seeks to uncover the wealth/secrets within the city. There are several establishments within the base camp that serve to help the expedition crews while also working to engage in enriching themselves;

Demographics

Current population is a rotation of support staff & adventuring crews for expeditions making a complete breakdown hard to manage. Several Feylines are also around the Hub encampment helping with the transport of resources and following those groups they deem exceptional.

Defences

The central plaza has had all major arteries into it barricade via palisades. These entryways are constantly monitored and protected to prevent the various entities of the city from getting into the area. Several staves imbued with the Hallow spell are located in the palisades to help hold back those that it can repel from reaching the fortification physically.

Infrastructure

Large, intricate, stone plaza with a large fountain in the middle made of marble. The Voice of Reason has created a large provision & caravansary in the center near the fountain where all the bulk resources are handed out for the parties & groups heading into the city for expeditions.

Guilds and Factions

The Voice of Reason is the controlling guild in the area as it has taken over a large portion of the Bazaar to use as a base camp for the exploration of Visilargyian remnants.

Architecture

The buildings in this district are a mix of stone masonry, timber, and interspersed brick designs. Nearly all have withstood the test of time due to their strong construction which has allowed for them to repurposed to the needs of the Guild.
