Sollobrook
The Frozen Isle
Out there, in uncharted waters, there is an island frozen solid. With snowy peaks on the horizon line, frozen rivers to slide around on and fresh white snow sprinkled across the island like a cool blanket. Sollobrook, the frozen isle. Most famous for the dikkerdak, a flightless species of birds that are native to the cold environment of the island. But there is more to this place if one looks a little more closely.
Frosty Inhabitants:
While the constant snow and ice might deter many species of wildlife, there are some that thrive in it. One example being the Dikkerdak, discovered in the age of Exploration and a rare sight for anyone who doesn't travel by sea. Another common creature is the mysterious artic giants known referred to as the Rhamaye. These enormous beasts have a level of intelligence similar to a primitive settlement and tend to avoid interaction by outsiders. Those who have gotten close suspect they are capable of performing some form of basic magic. Finally there is all the plants tucked inside frozen terrain that serve to keep the animals alive. Plants such as opal berry bushes and flake shrubs pop up to add variety to the largely white and barren island.Yeah it's alright really... Bit nippy though... Can't imagine I'd go back for a holiday. Then again, can't really get out much as a ghost. Yeah, something I learnt very quickly that one. Who knew who would be tied to the place you died...
