The Hoard
The Hoard is a small magic item shop ran by a dragonborn woman named Shelkal who has a reputation for her grumpy demeanor and surprising unwillingness to actually sell anything. The shop acts as more of a place to sell things, but nobody knows where Shelkal gets all of her money to buy the items she keeps in her store. The store is located across from The Golden Goblin in the Valzeer Wharf on the left corner of the main road leading to the square.
Purpose / Function
The purpose of this shop is to give adventurers a place to sell rarer items such as magic items, jewels or misc items. They can also potentially buy some items, but that would be much harder of an endeavor requiring a DC 22 Persuasion check to buy a single items from the shop keeper.
Architecture
The shop is a large two story building made of bright red cedar wood with a large glass window on the front of the shop with a large hanging sign displaying the name and what appears to be a carving of a pile of gold. On the inside is rows upon rows of shelves which all contain various bits and bobbles, some of which look more valuable than others and also contain a large amount of various gems, however all the shelves seem to be protected by some sort of transluscent arcane barrier.
