The Undercroft
The Undercroft is a small bar and brothel located in the far right side of the Valzeer Wharf down a small alley. It is not a popular spot as its in the shadiest part of town, but is home to the infamous and violent gang known as The Onyx Fangs. It has a dark atmosphere and is usually surrounded by gang thugs and beggars. However inside you will find a paradise for lust and excess with a fine bunch of courtesans offered to weary sailors. Its currently run by the Ivy family who own it.
The bar offers the following services:
- Cheap Ale - 2cp a mug, 1sp a pitcher
- Cheap Wine - 2cp a pitcher, 1gp a bottle
- Fine Wine - 1gp a pitcher, 5gp a bottle
- Liquor - 5cp a shot, 5sp a bottle
- Courtesan - 5cp for the lower class girls/men, 1gp for the higher class.
Purpose / Function
The Undercroft is a popular brothel and bar within the Valzeer Wharf and acts as a spot where lonely sailors can come to find some company. Here you can come to drink, find a woman or man and stay the night spending your hard earned gold with a bit of excess. However the spot also acts as the primary hangout and meeting place of the Onyx Fangs. Unlike the Golden Boars the Onyx Fangs do not have a secret meeting room or anything of the sorts as they view it as cowardly, instead they choose to meet right out in the open and the bar is often occupied by mostly Onyx Fang members.
Architecture
The Undercroft is a smaller two story stone building with no windows. Its entry lies in an alleyway and the bottom floor is partially underground. The entrance itself is a small stone staircase, usually with a bouncer guarding the door and a fancy dark oak wooden door that leads into the main floor. The main floor is an open square room with scattered red velvet couches, floor seats, fancy drapes and platforms for dancers as well as a small corner bar with a large shelf of various drinks behind him. There is also a door on the right side wall which leads to a staricase that leads up to the private rooms. These private rooms are small and simply contain a large round bed with fancy sheets and drapes around it.
