The Captain Returns
- Farren returned from his negotiations with Tsarra. He rested into the afternoon and emerged to find the aftermath of Beau's ransacking of the kitchen and subsequent "food exorcism".
- He was surprised to find Donnie on the ship, but quickly realized it was Harold. He referred to him as Donald and was truly surprised to see the butterfly wings were gone.
- He listened to Alton and Harolds update about the possibilities (the sewers to skullport or Rhylyn.)
- Farren put forth their original plan of finding Durst I mean Drizzt. Alton was not sure it was a good idea - they only had three weeks and he had heard from Rhylyn that the trip would take at least a month.
we don't know where the drizzit is and we don't have time to be searching for him
- Farren went to see if there was any information he could find about the pirate hunter he had persuaded out of arresting him and his old ship in the past.
- Farren spoke with captain Victor Radburn who let him to a retured Robillard in the castle ward.
- Farren brought Alton, Harold, and Ryltar with him, and used Ryltar's wizardly explaining of lianyte etc. to curry some favour. He was able to persuade the other wizard to send a message to see if he could get some information on the topic.
Harold and Ryltar get Lost
- On the way back to the ship, Harold distracted Ryltar and they both lost sight of the captain in the big city.
- Harold was able to fly fairly well even with his new feathery wings. He used the direction of the water to navigate back.
- At one point, Ryltar tried to go by some meats from a vendor while Harold was getting their bearings but seemed to narrowly avoid some kind of conflict.
- They passed a taven called the underdark. Harold suspected it might contain a giant ladder. The bartender denied this. After discussing it with Ryltar, Harold tried again disguised as Alton. He kept calling himself a "droman" and walking the spider man 3 walk.
- Eventually, after a little monetary persuasion, the bartender told them to come back after closing (3 am)
- They nearly reached one of the city gates and turned around. Harold, disguised as Alton, almost got into a conflict with an elven adventurer. Ryltar, nervouse, sent a few messages to Alton during this time.
- Eventually Harold and Ryltar made it back to the ship.
Beau's Training
- Before Alton left, Vaena sort of explained that she needed help and he managed to share his magic with her so she could transform into her dark elf form. She remained on the ship while the others went off, in order to continue Beau's training.
- Beau and Vaena tussled for a bit.
- Vaena got tired of "training" Beau and tried to give her some simple advice.
- Vaena reverted to bird form after a little over an hour , and flew up to the crows' nest
- Beau sought a chicken leg from the kitchen and made sure to take a bite out of it just as Farren and Alton returned. Alton did not fall for the prank.
- Vaena complained when Beau tried to get into character.
- Beau and Fernando's costumes were looking quite good.
Meeting
- Alton went to his meeting with Rhylyn.
- Harold perched on the roof of the building across the street.
- Farren remained outside on watch
- Beau tried to perform in the bar area of the inn, but found her performance not up to her standards.
- Rhylyn sent a child to give Alton the room number. The child ran off after being given a gold piece.
- Alton "negotiated" a price of 8000 gold pieces to get him and some friends into the underdarks, to the city.
