The Drunae are a unique people in Ikune, as where the other people in Ikune tend to be humanoid, the tauric Drunae looks vastly different. This has created tensions, as their way of life and the physical requirements for them to live comfortably is different from others, isolating them even when they are in villages and towns with other people.
Physical Characteristics
Drunae are taurs, with a humanoid upper body that has two arms and a feral lower body with four legs. Both halves mimics the same creature, though the specific one whose trait they have varies greatly, with the traits being most often observed as being similar to the other inhabitants of Ikune, such as Khonesh or the Amrilni.
Unique Traits
Quadrupel: Drunae's bodies are unique within Ikune, as their upper bodies are humanoid, while the lower body are quadrupels and longer. This gives them a unique appearance compared to the rest of Ikune, but also often keeps them on the edges of the other societies as they were never build with the Drunae in mind.
Adaptive: Being a Drunae is more to have a tauric body, than what a person is. One Drunae might otherwise be a tauric Amrilni, while another could be a Khonesh. They typically inherit some of the traits from the people they resemble, but it is rarely all. The only people that do not have any observed Drunae are the Arsier and the Qhiles.
