Aevir Thrones
Ruled by the three Mountain Kings, the Aevir Thrones is a nation that primarily consists of the Kaldbaken Arsier, also known as the Mountain Arsier. Living deep within and on top of the mountains, the nation has made it a point to fortify their homes, giving them peace and protection from their neighbors who have trouble dealing with the hostile terrain.
The nation however remains on cold terms with its neighbors, as they only regard what happens within their walls as being of their concern and as such they permit the old traditions of the raiding clans that seek to steal from the nation's neighbors, as long as the clans are ready to deal with the consequences on their own.
The Aevir Thrones originated as a colony sent from the far north to establish a foothold in Ikune, but was ultimately considered a failure as the harsh environment made the Kaldbaken Arsier unable to keep to their old traditions to survive, a mark that they still remain ashamed of to this day and consider incredible taboo to speak of. Instead they began to develop a culture of taking what is required to make it another day. Even now as they are more developed, the three cities of the Mountain Kings do what they consider necessary for the city to live.

Naming
Tradition and ancestors are important to the Aevir Thrones and the Arsier, who adopts the name of their clans and forefathers almost religiously, as one who doesn't adopt the name of their clan is viewed with suspicious at best, or thought to be clanless at worst.Typical name: Clan name | Given name | son/daughter of | father's name
Economy
Each of the three major settlements in the mountains have a thriving internal economy, with trade with the outside being occasional but regular in the summer months when the mountains are milder. A lot of the trade with other nations tend to be exports of metal goods and jewelry from the rich mountain mines, while the imports are often food, textiles and other plant- and ocean-based goods that are hard to access and grow in the cold climate.Law and Order
The law of the Aevir Thrones are relatively mild under the belief that anyone can be reformed, but the harsh climate means that imprisonment is rare and usually only happens while waiting for sentencing or if the person is otherwise considered unable to carry out their sentence such as being sick or injured. Most sentences tend towards fines or rehabilitation through working as an apprentice under close supervision.Culture
Being one of the more isolated realms in Ikune by nature of the Rrhazmroran Mountains they live in, the Aevir Thrones have adopted a mindset of that which doesn't affect them, doesn't concern them. Be it armies walking through their territory or terrible storms, if it doesn't harm them behind their safe walls it is not a problem they will deal with.
Instead of focusing outwards, the people generally look up to their ancestors, both dead and living, with veneration. This comes to the point that an insult directed towards a person's ancestor is considered close to an attack on the Aevir and is taken gravely. Most Aevir is also very likely to be worshipping their dead ancestors only a step below that of their patron gods, with scholars discussing if the patron gods are in truth their combined ancestors, or something else. Regardless of the fact, every major town within the Aevir Thrones will put an emphasis on their founder as an ancestor to the city as a whole and everyone living within it, and their image and name can often be found throughout the city.
With the nation consisting mostly of Arsier, they tend towards having a heavy focus on stonework, with it not being unusual for clans to have large projects that can go on for generations as skilled stonemasons works on them, creating distinct generational styles to it with each generation adding their own unique touches. This comes also in part from their patience, as being hasty is considered to risk worse results when one could take their time to get it right.
If she was to say yes however, the man would negotiate terms with the head of the woman's household, arranging an appropriate pay. Most often this comes in the payment of something the man's family produces.
The wedding would be arranged within a year of the proposal, during which time the man is expected to enter the mines and dig out enoguh metal to smelt, and to forge a sword that he would gift to the bride during the wedding ceremony.
Relationships
Marriages are often less of a romantic endeavour in the Aevir Thrones, with couples often being set up between families and sometimes clans as a way to expand and have the family's legacy live on. The man is expected to woo the woman in the relationship, winning her fervor and love. Should the man however fail to do this, then the woman was likely to say no when the man proposes, as she had the last say if she was willing to go through with it or not.If she was to say yes however, the man would negotiate terms with the head of the woman's household, arranging an appropriate pay. Territories
The Lands belonging to the Aevir Thrones are often not defined in specific ways, with the exception of their walled cities, with the general consensus being you have entered it once the mountains have you surrounded and you are unable to see the lands surrounding them. The mountains that are within this loosely defined boundary comes primarily in three types:
The first of these are the Lush Valleys in which the surrounding mountains helps to keep out many of the dangers lurking elsewhere, providing relatively peaceful respite. Each of the three major cities consists of such a valley.
The second type are the Mountain Pathways. Not all being true roads, they are locations considered possible to traverse and are the places connecting the three cities together with a network of roads.
The third and last type are the Impassable Mountains. Considered dangerous to pass through, the Arsier avoid these regions and their dangers that can be anything from the local wildlife, to dangerous or unstable terrain and lethal weather conditions.
