Troll, Ogre and Giants
Ogres
Ogres are the most similar to the other people of Ikune, though that is rarely a calming thought for those who find themselves near one. The average ogre will typically be far bigger than even the tallest man, with greatly enhanced strength partly in thanks to hints of giant blood within them.Most people consider them little more than brutes, which is usually not wrong as most ogres have origins from mutated animals and tend to share their intelligence, even as they become more humanoid in appearance.
The subversion comes when the origin is from the people of Ikune, as though it is rare, an ogre might find themselves to share their blood and then that is the case, they tend to have a resemblance of intelligence and even the ability to use tools.
Unfortunately for most, it can be hard to see the difference on the origins of an ogre, and even the use of tools will rarely show if they are a danger or not. Only the most intelligent of ogres tends to bother with more than their immediate fascinations and needs, but those also tend to be the most dangerous.
Trolls
Trolls are large tusked beings, never reaching below 8 ft. even at their lowest and often being larger. With grotesque and often gaunt appearances, they do not resemble any other known people in Ikune. Beyond their savagery, trolls are famous for their razor sharp claws and being near impossible to kill due to the regenerative properties of their blood and some even use primitive weapons, but have yet to be found using tools.There exists many variants of the common troll, often adapted to each their own environment and surroundings, but so far none have been found to be interested in other races beyond as either food or beings to sate their bloodlust on.
Giants and Titans
Giants tower far above both trolls and ogres, being larger than most common houses with an innate connection with the natural magic of the world. Like trolls, they have many variants that are adapted to the individual regions they inhabit, with some of the more well known ones being the rock giants living in the mountains to the north who are often mistaken for elementals and earth spirits due to their physical resemblance. What makes them stand out beyond their size, is their little care for the affairs of smaller races as despite them being more than intelligent enough, they consider those smaller than themselves to not be worthy of their attention. Titans on the other hand are never less than the size of mountains, being composed of natural forces and some legends even speak that they are the manifestations of the natural magic of the world. What affairs they have remains unknown, as no common person have managed to ever gain the attention of a titan, much less being able to converse with them. The only ones who gain their attention are the giants, and even that rarely lasts for long.
