Vadalia's Rest

An old site of the ancient giants which has changed hands many times, full of history, and now mostly destroyed. Originally built as a fortress and planar gateway by the earliest giants, powerful planar magic was used to force open the path between Eberron and Thelanis, the Feywild. In those days the giants launched raids into Thelanis, capturing its fey inhabitants, who were later stripped of their connection to Thelanis to become mortal elves. As the fey influence began to overtake the site, and the giants found better ways to conduct their raids, the site was abandoned.
Milennia later, the elven rebellion, seeking a place safe from the giants, rediscovered the site, taking it for their own and naming it Vadalia’s Rest. The fey influence was more welcoming to them, and helped them hide from the giants as they made plans, such as the Greenway escape route and the destruction of The Forge of Hours . Eventually, the forces of Scora Bael led by General Astrapa found them, destroying much of the site and killing Vadalia the Liberator.
In the modern age, the persistent fey influence acted as a portal for The Court in Exile to step through to the island, and the now-ancient planar magic reached the attention of The Sulatar. Following information from the Court, a party from Beacon broke the Sulatar siege on the site, met Brall, a sprite who acted as a guardian of the site, and recovered the planar magic before The Unburned and her Sulatar could. The current site is presumed mostly destroyed, and no longer has its connection to Thelanis and the fey.
