Kosaris
Put your average Kosari noble next to one of their peasants, and you'll be left in awe. The two would manifest such a drastic difference in behaviour and the overall view on the world, and even their language, that one could be forgiven for questioning whether they actually belong to the same race. With all that, why have their empire survived through all those centuries of its history? The answer would be very simple — fear. One thing you can't deny about all Kosaris is that they would use any means available to achieve their goals.Kosaris, or "Kosar's Sons" as they originally called themselves, are the most numerous race of the Old World. For most of the known history, they have ruled the Ardenian Empire from the Grand Sand Sea. However, it must be noted that their society is, and has always been, very segregated. The absolute majority of the Kosari population are peasants cultivating the land, much of which belongs directly to the Emperor. Those peasants have few rights and many obligations, and are often treated little better than the cattle. As a result of such highly submissive position, the Kosari peasants have developed a very ground-to-earth approach to life. On the other hand, nobles, which manage the realm on the orders of the Emperor, seem to care much more about how things look than how they really are.
