The Civil Rights League is a formally small organization that grew in size after the White Fang was founded and has been a huge political group for peacefully advancing Civil Liberties and Sentient Rights. The Organisation is concerned with all rights of all sentients and doesn't just focus on Faunus. The League has been responsible for major shifts in rights and Liberty thanks to their large pool of funding and mixed race membership and broad platform as well as effective Propaganda that sways moderates to their causes.
