Westra

The continent of Westra touches the Whispering Sea, the Narrow Sea, the Crater Sea, the Great Sea, and the Peaceful Sea. It is composed of rainforest, jungle, grassland, mixed forest, deciduous forest, and arctic biomes. It is divided into two nations, and has two races.

Geography

A large continent, Westra has a diverse geography. On the Western coast, there are five islands, each covered in some makeup of jungles and rainforest. The Westernmost coast is also jungle, which gives way to great expanses of grassland across the center of the continent and much of the eastern half. There are two notable mountain ranges, the Ghostfall Range to the North and the Starhold Range to the South. Mixed and deciduous forests also take up quite a lot of acreage on the Eastern half of the continent.

Weather and Seasons

Temperatures on Westra can reach over 110* in the jungles and rainforests, and some central parts of the plains. The rest of the continent can have lows in the 20s in the coldest months and experiences highs in the 90s. Most of the continent experiences four seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter), though the Western coast and the islands do not experience a true winter, but rather a cool dry season.

Flora and Fauna

Westra, much like its immediate neighbor Austra, has a wide variety of flora and fauna to correspond with its wide variety of biomes.
