Welcome to the World of Wyrmfell


 
The world of Wyrmfell is a varied place both in people and landscape.

The Icy north is controlled by The Remnants, a group of Noble Dragonborn families, governed by a ruling council. The Dragonborn used to rule the world of Wyrmfell, before the Orobos Empire drove them into the Northern Fleece. Little is known about these lands by anyone south of the Snow Dragon Mountains.
 


 
  The lands south of here are controlled by The Thralashi Empire, a nomadic group of people who roam The Rolling Plains, herding cattle on horseback. They are a proud and introverted people, not taking kindly to people who enter their lands uninvited. However those who are invited, will be treated like family. Their Ruler is always known as The Horse Lord, and it is a position that changes hands often, only the greatest horseman is fit to rule the Thralashi. Their bonds with their horses are almost as important as their bonds with other people.
 


 
  The ruined lands of Orobos, that lay to the east are the result of a sad tale. The Last Emperor of the Orobos Empire destroyed most of his lands while performing a ritual, attempting to summon some great Celestial Beast. The ritual failed and the northern part of his empire was left ruined, and those who had disapproved of his rule took the opportunity to form a new empire in the south. These burned and ruined lands are now controlled by The Ender's Cult, who are primarily left alone due to their lands being worthless. The cult are unfriendly to outsiders.
 


 
  South of Orobos are the remains of the Orobos empire, living in the lands now known as the Umbra Domain. Their lands stretch the luscious fields to the south coast, and west across the marshes at the top of the Dineestra coast. The Umbra Domain are a very traditional culture, rejecting most modern innovations. They can appear unwelcoming, but are are generally a kind and honest people. Although unsurprisingly this doesnt extend to their nobility.
 


 
  The lands in the south west are held by the largest empire, The Knights of the Forge. Founded in the forgotten days, they have long been a part of Wyrmfell, although have only come to such power relatively recently. The groups have strong ties with Bahamut, the forge god, and their religious nature makes them quite combative with other groups. Those who will show defference to their god, are welcome in their lands, but expect some light conversion. Their lands Kingdom of the Forge stretch far. From deep jungles in the south the great forests in the north.
 


  The Dineestra coast Dineestra Coast is home the The Alliance of Black Sails, and where our campaign begins. The Dineestra Coast is a peninsula at the south of the world, but most of its population lives either on the Golden Isles to the south or in the capital Jorhan's Crest. It is considered the most "feral" empire, with most of its "citizens" being pirates. This isn't to say they aren't friendly, just a bit ruthless. The peninsula is mostly fields and hils with small forests.
 
 
  Our campaign begins in Jorhan's Crest during the build up to the Great Moon Festival. A celebration of the moon of Wyrmfell being at it's biggest, and the begining of a new era. These celebrations are taking place in cities and villages across the world, but it is said the pirate king throws the best parties. Your characters dont need to be from here, they just need a reason to be here now. Starting at level 3, your characters are a little stronger than the average villager, but they arent great advernturers yet! Your welcome to have your characters know each other before we start, but you dont need to.
