Rock & Stone Mine

This mine was discovered by the three dwarven clans which include the following:

1. Flintstone.
2. Rubble. 
3. Slate.

The three clans were sent out by the King Drakkon Dragonshield to expand the dwarven territory through the underdark of the North Azure.  These three clans were trained to look for surface entries. The dwarven realm was hoping by sending these three clans that would find other entrances to the underdark that would lead to undiscovered mines.  What they were looking for was Mithril. There home land of Hemgrvn had several mines of the legendary mineral sought by dwarves, elves, and man eventually once they knew what it could do. The dwarves had not discovered the valuable mineral in the realm of Sikkea. The discovery of the mine was by accident. the clans were traveling about the different realms of north azure when it came upon the orchards of Alethia family near the city of Odesuss. The dwarves did not head to the warnings of the locals about a unknow creature that guards the orchards. The clans did not believe in fairy tales and proceeded thought the orchards.  On the night of 21st of Somnus 493 CD the dwarves by these unknown creatures killing several members of all three clans. The clan leader Fowina Flintstone found a cave entrance carefully hidden in a grove of cedar trees. Leading what remained of the three clans into the cave where a tunnel was discovered. As the Rubble and Slate clans who were hit the hardest from the creatures rested and took care of the wounded. Fowina took a scouting party and followed the tunnel which went 6 leagues under the surface. Where they found a ancient secret eleven door. The dwarves proceeded to destroy the secret door and hit pay dirt where they found a vein of Mithril. After a five year battle with the humans and other dwarven clans over the mineral rights of the cave. For unknow reasons the humans backed of on the rights to the minerals and the Flintstone clan was given the mineral rights of the cave.  This took five years to settle in court. On the first of Zeus the mind began mining operations starting at two leagues under the surface.

Geography

The mine starts at 2 leagues under the surface of the Alethia Orchards 6 leagues from the village of Odesuss. The dwarves in two years have dug 6 more leagues down reaching the Legendary Underdark. While digging the bases of the mine they found thousands of veins of mineral, gems, and of course mithril.

History

• 493 CD: Rock & Stone Mine was discovered on 21 Somnus, 493 CD by the Flintstone clan along with the Rubble and Slate clans.
• 497 CD: After a five year legal battle in the courts of Soteropolis with the Alethia family and dwarven clans trying to lay claim to the mine the Flintstone clans get the mineral rights and legal rights to the mine located near the city of Odesuss on the property of Alethia orchards.
• 498 CD: On the first of Zeus the dwarven clans of the Flintstone, Rubble, and Slate begin the Rock & Stone mining operation. 
• 498 CD:  1st of Vulcan The village of Bedrock is established six months from the start of the mining operations. The goal of the village is to become a famous legendary dwarven city.
