Vander was born and raised in Cassal Issilidith, destined for an arranged marriage and political life. He had both, and was lucky - after a few years of bickering, he and his wife Jostra fell in genuine love, and his political career, while not standout, was successful. His two children, Raina and Garion, are another story - one's the Champion of Eldonna, and the other is a hopeful handful.
