Goblin
Basic Information
Anatomy
Goblins are bipedal, and have two arms that reach to mid-thigh when at the side. Each arm ends in one hand that has five fingers.
Biological Traits
Goblin males are typically slightly stronger and taller than females.
There are two types of goblin. Ibujěbu (cave-resident) and Ranenjěbu (forest-resident). Ibujěbu tend to have lighter skin tones, slightly less height, and eyes that are a bit more sensitive to light than Ranenjěbu.
Genetics and Reproduction
Goblins reproduce sexually, and are oviparous. Incubation takes five months. They can have up to three children at one time. These eggs are fertilized one at a time, so theoretically, each egg could be fertilized by a different male.
Ecology and Habitats
Historically, goblins have often lived in dark places, such as caves and dense forests. Nowadays, many of them live in cities.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Goblins are omnivorous, and are quite adaptable.
Additional Information

Civilization and Culture
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Unlike most other races, goblins managed to stay hidden during the time of the New Abrizan Empire. Because of this, their original language, Vidrur, is still intact. After the fall of the old Empire, over time most goblins adopted Draconic in order to be able to interact with other races.
Vidrur is still spoken, but not as often, and only when interacting with other goblins.
History
Goblins were native to Zelunica when the Zelunii arrived. They were the most developed people that the Zelunii met, having been the first to form a kingdom. This kingdom remained intact and independent until the arrival of the New Abrizan Empire, when the goblins were forced to flee into caves and forests. The New Abrizan Empire razed the former kingdom's cities, killing the goblins who remained behind.
The goblins stayed in hiding until 1240, during the fall of the Empire. At this point, they were two separate tribes: the Ibujěbu (cave-resident) and the Ranenjěbu (forest-resident). They lived in their separate tribes for many years, but at this point they were behind the rest of the world politically and technologically. The leaders of the two tribes eventually decided to reunite the tribes into one kingdom, which became known as Ýěbetral. They could not come to a decision regarding which of the previous leaders should lead the new kingdom, and eventually it was decided that both would rule simultaneously, so that the needs of both the Ibujěbu and Ranenjěbu would be considered equally. Thus, the proposed kingdom ended up being a co-principality.
Today, the terms Ibujěbu and Ranenjěbu aren't entirely accurate, since many goblins now live in aboveground cities. Despite this, these terms are still in use, and goblins are still somewhat divided by their ancestry.
