All who had a hand in her death are to be put to the sword before Strahd takes matters into his own hands destroying the Abbey and the town of Kresk along with it.
The travelers meet the Vistani who live outside Vallaki, deliver wine to the Inn, have a dinner and séance at Wachter house before grave news and a tempting offer come with mornings light. All the while they yearn to discover their new dark powers or strengthen the light within.
The travelers begin to escort the wine shipment around the valley, with their first stop in Krezk.
The travelers confront the prime suspect in the theft of St. Andral's Bones from the church and later travel out to The Wizard of Wines Winery to check on an overdue shipment before the upcoming festival in Vallaki.
The travelers investigate the old windmill they have the deed to, while also protecting Ireena from Strahd's minions.
Our heroes, now free of Durst Manor, explore the village of Barovia and begin to learn the true threat that is Count Strahd Von Zorovich
Locked in Durst Manor by some magical force the heroes continue their exploration and face the denizen's of the place.
Our victorious heroes return from destroying the ettercap lair and the villagers throw them a grand celebration. Afterwards they continue their journey to Barovia, stopping at the Raven's Feather Inn.
The heroes meet in Silverymoon finding a common goal given to them by their respective factions, to find Barovia. The Harpers have concerns about recent Werewolf attacks coming from the mists, the Lords Council needs to find the Archmage Mordenkainen, and the church of Lathander believes Gravetender's dreams are a quest from their god, to find Barovia and bring back his light to that land. No one knows how to get to Barovia, so they are sent to the closest place that might have that knowledge, The Yawning Portal Inn in the city of Waterdeep.
