Born to a litter of 6 of
Iler Littlefoot and Magpie along with his sister Serenade. Serenade his closest sibling to him (as conniving and wiry as she is) worked with Caprice to craft a small clay and wood abacus the beads the essence of poison they gave this gift to their record obsessive brother Legato which he uses to keep track of all choices of anyone to cross his path constantly recording any findings upon paper. Early in their lives with Lambert and the Lady of winter, Legato became obsessed with the harsh realities of winter all the death and strife wrought by one season alone. The lady in winter upon the realization of this had the cloak Jokul broken down and re spun into 6 separate cloaks one for each child Legato received Snorok an icy blue cloak embued with the blessing of winter.During their childhood, with only fleeting memories of their parents, they were taken in by Lambert Wilks, who was a close friend of their father's, and his wife Lady Morgana of The Feycourt. They were raised closely with their cousins Mercury and Sona Luxord-Vlatson, who's parents were also friends of Iler and Magpie's. Legato grew fairly close with Mercury who seemed to balk many of the trends and expectations of his family, being one of the only people he confided in.
Legato always felt that the stories told by the allies of his father who fought with him in The Coil and The Abyss such as Osa Zima's detailed work on the experience; portrayed his father in an unfair light and judged his actions in a too harsh and embellished manner.
This led to him wanting to understand what true divine judgement was, who and what is right and wrong in only a way that the Gods knew how. Between his obsession with judgement and having grown up around the famous beloved Luxord-Vlaston family who, to him, slandered his father; led to him harboring resentment for their families despite his friendship with his adopted cousins Sona and Mercury.
Legato traveled with Sona and Mercury to Crow's Fort with Aien Yinvyre where he was preparing them to be able to assist in the company before he dissapeared. Legato joined with the other The Heroes of Crow's Fort to investigate his disappearance and the ruins of Liberus. He fled with the rest of them to avoid the ire of the Mindflayer Dagoruk when they discovered he was masquerading as Aien.
He and the rest of the Heroes of Crow's Fort; after finding out about Mercury Luxord-Vlatson's evil deeds believed he needed to die, and in doing so, released the Deep from its vessel and beginning the end of the world, and hasn's been seen since.
