Noble ruler of the Ranginian Empire

Adriel's birth was surrounded by woe. His mother grew ill with the Aether Pox after giving birth to him. His mother was confined to her room ever since his birth following his father's decree. Even though the illness' cause is unknown, his father always blamed it on the birth of Adriel. Because of this unfortunate mishap, his father always was cold to the boy. Despite that, he found solace in training and in prayer. He grew closer to the royal guards that with which he trained. He grew specially close to his tutor, Leander who was a father figure for the kid.

Adriel also had a passion for art, he always loved drawing and asked Kaede to teach him how to improve. He was forbidden to see his mother by his father. However, this didn't stop the young boy from sneaking into his mother's room every now and then to show her his drawings and improvements.

Ten years after his birth, her mother gave birth to his sister, Elaine . Unfortunately, the girl was born with the same affection as her mother. Adriel spent a lot of time with her little sister, caring for the plants of the castle's garden. They were really close-knit siblings who had no love from their father who obsessed with her wife's state.

The day Adriel's mother died due to her illness, everything took a turn for the worse. His father banished him from the capital and told him not to come back until he had achieved a feat worthy of a king. He left the castle and wandered off into the unknown. He went from city to city helping the guard apprehend criminals, raid corrupt noble's states and defend them against monster attacks.

On one of his joint operations with the guard of the city of Vista, he was tasked with rescuing prisoners from the dungeon of the corrupt Count Zathrian's mansion. There he found a young tiefling woman chained to two columns by her wrists and hoisted up in the air. He would later learn that this woman was Lilith Bellum, a fugitive wanted in several cities because of her crimes against noblemen.

Despite her crimes, he would find the lass to have a good compasionate heart for those living in misery. Though rough at best, they agreed to a partnership to stop corrupt nobles. During their time pursuing corrupt nobles he would learn that the foul-mouthed lass wasn't a bad partner and that, when there was cooperation, they were a great team.

Meanwhile, the tyranny of his father's new rule had started to reach the duo's ears. He had been raising the taxes of the townspeople and nobles alike. The taxes were beginning to become unbearable for the tonwsfolk who would later start an uprising. However, the uprising in Syrendille would be cut short as Vortigern ordered the nobles to execute the traitors in exchange for a lowering of their taxes.

With the situation quickly escalating, Adriel decided to go back home and talk his father out of his crazy mindset. However, he would be met with a side of his father he had never seen. His father grew mad from seeing he was not only back, but also accompanied by a wanted criminal. He apprehended Lilith and exiled him from Syrendille forever. Only this time he wasn't going to take it. He spoke to the royal guard on his way out and asked Damocles for a favor. He wanted him to scry on Lilith and see what his father would do to her. He found out that his father had not only Lilith, but a whole lot of prisoners from the uprising. Horrified by what he found, he assembled an army of guards that were fed up with his father's behaviour and messaged his friends from his adventuring days. With them, he began a campaign of assaults against the kingdom forces to get Lilith back. This would come to be known as the beginning of the Throne War.

The team achieved their goal after two months of bellic campaign against the Empire. Finally reunited with Lilith, he professed her love for the tiefling to her and they got engaged. In the meantime his father, infuriated by his son's actions, took her sister hostage and prepared for a final battle against the prince in the capital of the Empire. When they heard of Vortigerns plans, the royal guard deserted and joined the prince for this last battle.

In the battle, they discovered that the emperor had been conspiring with the demon prince, who promised him to bring her wife back if he gave him power over the Empire and a powerful artifact that lied within the castle's walls. Adriel, Lilith and the royal guard courageously fought and overcame the demon prince. However, on his last moments the demon prince took Elaine with him to the Nine Hells. Kaede and Karl pursued him through a gate spell and nothing has been known from them since.

The now emperor of the Ranginian Empire built a garden of statues in the castle with a monument to each of his fallen loved ones. One for his mother, one for his sister, one for his adventuring companions who fell in battle, one for the peoples of the Empire who died and one for each of the heroes who through themselves into the Nine Hells for a noble cause.

Two years after the war had ended, Adriel got married to Lilith and, wanting nothing to do with his father, he took Lilith's surname. That same year, they were blessed with their first child, Maylea, a blue tiefling girl with amber eyes. The year after, they had their second kid, Lucifer, a aasimar boy with golden hair.
