Notes about the final boss:

  • Gate to the palace is magically reinforced

  • There is supposedly an entrance to the palace through the sewers

  • There's 100% traps

  • Emperor is in supposedly no shape to fight; jury is out on this

    • About the palace:
    Entrances:
  • Inquisitor secret entrance; might run into inquisitors

  • Hidden servant entrance

  • The front door with magic detectors

    • Traps/inconveniences:
  • Fanatical servants

  • Guards

  • Inquisitors and the Grand Inquisitor

    • Where is the emperor?
  • In the throne room overlooking the city

  • has 2 ceremonial guards stationed outside the doors

  • WE WILL BE FIGHTING HIM IN HIS LAIR

    Plan of action:
  • Enter the citadel through the sewers; Theral gives the iron bands to Vic for later; COMMAND WORD IS "I CHOOSE YOU"

  • Balthazar stealths us using pass without trace and invisibility

  • Infilitrate the palace through the servant's quarters; locate the throne room

  • kill god; Theral will contact Sarin with sending once the deed is done

  • Theral uses 'word of recall' to get us back to the ship; otherwise we escape through the sewers
