Session 29- The ship-building episode

Got to the Hub and wandered into Roger's Astral Shipyard

  • Turns out our ship is too small to fit a rotation device; will need to go back tomorrow for a ship appraisal

    • Rapp got harassed by pamphleteers from the Union of Animated Objects
     
    Wandered around town and came across:
  • A bar hosting a bloodsport

  • A museum with a LOT of interesting things in it:

    • - A recreation of a ship belonging to Captain Greyshrike, the leader of the Hub traders who defended it against a Mind Flayer attack
    - A set of gear from a particular sphere
    - Some recovered Far-realm items including a mind flayer robe and skull
    - A bunch of monster bones including a beholder skeleton
    - A set of Platemail with leaves growing out of it; supposedly the armor of the 'Green Knight'
    - A blade called the MockingBlade which amplifies insults
    - A robe made out of dragon scales supposedly belonging to an ancient Red Dragon who was a part of the Dragon Empire before it fell
    - A whole section dedicated to Astral mechanics including maps and parts to an automated map
     
    Traded the auto map for 60,000 gold
    Commisionned a custom built ship for said 60k gold; will be ready in 1 month
  • Got drinks afterwards at a bar run by a void dragon; Rapp passed out drunk, Balthazar turned into an idiot and I developed an intense interest in Balthazar
