Prowling through the asylum Anton finds a fire escape and wends his way, progressing to the fourth floor. With the distinct scent of Larissa’s perfume in the air, he investigates three rooms with open doors that are empty, then hears screaming that is unmistakably Larissa.
Heading towards the screaming, Anton is knocked over by Oxford barrelling out of the room, but is pleased to discover the three of them sage. Urging haste and discretion, he leads them out of the room to head back down the stairs.
Heading downstairs, we see a bright flash of light and flame, shortly followed by a rumble and billowing smoke, indicating a large bomb has been set off downtown - likely in the vicinity of the seat of the Anarch Council.
The doors to the staircase seals shut, and the intercom comes to life with a voice proclaiming that we are being implicated as responsible for the bombing: vindictive Camarilla taking vengeance on the Anarch.
Realising that we are being both watched and listened to, Anton uses Larissa’s lipstick to obscure the cameras then, indicating for them all to be quiet, heads back down the passage until they find the wardroom. At Anton’s direction, Oxford switches on the few monitors that are working, but there is little indication of what they are viewing.
We catch a glimpse of a strange creature flashing past - a head with two arms as legs - but it is gone in a moment.
Realising we will need to make our way through the day room to find an exit, or the security control room. As we enter the room the creature bounds through the opposite door. Anton tries to shoot it, but Larissa leaps onto his back and breaks his aim but Oxford leaps forward and attacks it, killing it quickly while Anton tries to flush the screaming Larissa from his back.
Larissa runs off through the door, but Anton consults with Oxford about trying to trace how the cameras are being monitored. They discover the cameras are wifi, and Anton breaks one off the wall and takes it with him before they descend the stairs.
At the bottom of the stairs, they find a monster - a construct with the face of Morty on its head and of the Night Manager on its abdomen. It attacks - Anton gets several good shots at it, but it keeps coming. Oxford yells that he will try and pin it so Anton can shoot point blank, and he switches the magazine to incendiary rounds and does so, unloading five or six rounds into it before it finally succumbs.
