--Sparrowhawk talks to the Death Stalker in Draconic. She is questioning him trying to get more out of him about what was going on down below. They're using it as a base of operations to branch out into 3 major cities. Using the sewer system from these major metro areas to their advantage. There is a general portal to the area to where Priest is located. It's not going to take a week. It will be more like 24 hours from now until they invade
--She looks up to Trisha and us and says we need to hurry, make preparations, and be ready to engage within six hours.
--Two ways to get to where Priest and his fiance (Tish, a Paladin) got married: one is by boat, another is by portal. It's a rocky/plateau type terrain on that island. The top part is flat and has a mountain region in the northeast end of the island. A large waterfall pours into the ocean on the southern side of the island. Beautiful resort island that the rich and famous tend to use.
--Thomas casts a cloud of recovery that we each walk through. Each of us are rested, with spells reset and weapons and armor repaired as necessary.
--We step through the portal to Asperdi Island. And then we subsequently step through the portal to the top of the island.
--We see a group of four to the northeast fighting a large group of enemies with a summoner summoning more as they go. To the northwest, a group of enemies are attempting to flank the others. They're across a river closing in on a bridge.
--We choose to take on the group attempting to flank at the bridge. INITIATIVE!
--During the fight Keaton butt-slams a guy to death!
--Keaton goes down, only to be brought back up by Priest! He who was meant to be saved by us instead saves us!
--The last two bugbears give up and drop to their knees.
--Tish, Jarl and Trez have no issues working their way through their end of the fight across the field.
--The bad guy dude disappears and TURNS INTO A BALOR.
--Trez shoots some kind of harpoon that sticks into the Balor.
--Jarl takes out of his armor a blow dart which blows a bubble similar to that which Sholken used earlier and captures the Balor.
--The Balor took over the body of the High Priest, who lies before him.
--Tish says "You could've done that a little quicker, you know?"
--Priest goes to Tish, and just starts kissing. Umm, whut?
--Thulahnear pulls Priest aside and explains what happened back at his place.
--Tish thanks each of us personally, and appreciates what we've done for Priest and his home.
--Priest has a worry in his eyes that this Balor has killed off most of his family, and is visibly dishevelled.
--Tish leans over and gives Treznak a kiss on the cheek. Trez walks with Jarl and jokes that "I told you I was her No. 2!"
--Priest says drinks are on him back at the tavern and the neutral cross-roads place (Landragard?)
--We all stand in a circle and teleport back to HQ, WITH THE BALOR.
Keaton, Vale, Sholken, Kemurial and Thulahnear each gained 5120 XP.
Atavan, Ravenflame and Eden each receive 2560 XP.
