--We return to the guild hall where Sparrowhawk offers us a cookie.
--We eat the cookies, gaining a permanent +2 to ALL ability scores!
--The Drow Triplets are asking for a parley at the Cross Dagger Inn.
--We go to the Cross Dagger Inn, where we meet up with the triplets.
--Vale receives a medallion that, when displayed, will grant her (us?) free passage within the land of BDA.
--Vale reveals that he was once enslaved by Drow, and is half Drow and half Aasimar.
--We teleport back to the HQ, where we then port over to Landragard.
--We meet Adams along the road, who works for Priest as his right-hand, keeping his place well-maintained. He had been in a nearby city for a couple weeks. He says he can lead us to Priest.
--As we round the corner into the compound, Adams discovers that there are bodies strewn everywhere. He is visibly taken aback as he is unsuspecting of any trouble. They are his family and friends. His wife and sister are among the bodies.
--All three buildings in the town are made of white marble. The house is two-storeys, there is a workshop and a stable.
--"ASPERDI Wedding" is circled on a piece of paper Kem and Raven found on the master bedroom desk upstairs in Priest's home. There is no date listed on the paper. Down below that it says "honeymoon".
--We discover a cave on the northeastern corner of town with two bodies just outside.
--There is a colossal 100'-tall statue of Aerith just south of the town, that looks upon the town itself.
--Adams finds us and tells us about the cellar that the kids should be in. We check the cellar and find a couple children and some adults in the cellar huddled up, safe.
--They tell us that large hairy beasts came through and ravaged the populace of the town.
--They are bugbears that came through.
--We decide to venture into the cave/mines.
--As we climb down the 60 or so feet, we encounter three invisible bugbears, which we quickly dispatch.
--Based on the information given to Sholken by the last bugbear, we decide to press forward. But first we go back up and tell the folks in the cellar to evacuate immediately to the nearest city. We place a note in the cellar in case Priest or his folks come back, and we leave a decoy note on the desk in Priest's bedroom.
--I hear a couple voices, one human. He's frustrated that they didn't find Priest here. He's talking to one of his lieutenants. He said "You need to send a group to stay here while we go find out what's out there, sounds like water. I'm moving the army out. You stay back with the two dwarves and demolish the tunnel. Your group is good. I'd expect anything that happens to be cleaned. Just demolish the tunnel, then meet us back at HQ." I hear bunch a footsteps moving off in the distance moving away from me. The minion guy responds to his lieutenant by saying "Yes, High Priest."
--While we're stealthed, we spot a Death Stalker, which is something of any race, in this case a Drow, that die at birth. After about 48-hours, they take their first breath. Afterwards, they live halfway in reality, and halfway in death. He regenerates health and has 50% resistance.
--After seeing what we saw, we decide to bamf out of there back to our HQ to relay all our intelligence to Sparrowhawk.
