2nd Chapter — L'Enfant Sauvage
— The Zodiark Log 005 — Year 200

Location: Aquaveil — Hydrarok Dominion

(Personal Notes) — We have crashed landed in Aquaveil, this quite hamlet in the Hydrarok Dominion.
A pest has chewed on some important Zodiark's components and we lost power midair, fortunately I managed to stear it into water, and no one got hurt... For a moment I really thought it had been my fault, my lack of experience... From now on I'll do a more thorough inspection and will not take flight until I'm absolutely sure we don't have one of those metal chewers on board.
 
I think the crew expects me to be the face of the Zodiark Crew, but my fear of being recognised is hindering this...
 
Well, we need parts to call help Skyhold so we ventured into town. People here are very welcoming. Unfortunately the specialist is out in a expedition and we have to wait, so we made ourselves available to assist in the preparations for the party tonight. Shurr and Soot fixed some essential equipment, Talia and Yunseul are performing a dance and I'll be playing my Hurdy-gurdy for the first time... Well, it will be the first time I'll play for more than one person, I'm nervous.
 
Also, we found out there are some catacombs underneath the hamlet, we figured that we would explore them, as we still have time until the specialist returns.
 
In another note, I also choose to hide my magic ability. One of the elders was impressed that so many of the crew could do magic. This clearly shows how special the Aetherwings are.
 
Xiu Mei makes me nervous, her carefree disposition reminds me too much of my Veranesta, hope she doesn't notice that I'm actively avoiding her.
 
I'll gather more notes and information, and after we delve into the catacombs I'll have enough material for this second chapter of The Zodiark Chronologicals
