There's a starman
Waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman
Waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
For some reason I have not been able to get this refrain out of my head. I believe it is an excerpt from a great song by a forgotten bard. I think his name was Ziggy Stardust. He was well known among the Fey, if the books on that culture are to be believed. They are not always the most factual accounts, tending more towards allegory and anecdote even in their own accounts. It seems in some ways that the history writes itself where the folk of the "fairy realm" are concerned. If they believe it happened hard enough, that becomes the fact, not the fact informing the history. I would very much like to visit someday. And then settle down and keep some bees. Hello Bees!
