Marlie’s mother magically heals him, though he has lost sight in one eye
Elli returns to the Pickle house, looking for Indy and Marlie; Cordelia leaves with her to go look for them at Marlie’s house
she says a big fire demon was in the docks, but Iodell defeated it and it became a tiefling
she grows suspicious when Drevlin asks about the cause of the fire
as Helwyn arrives back at the Pickle house, a scratching begins at the basement door, and a voice says “Let me out.”
(Post Session)
Helwyn stacks crates over the basement entrance as Drevlin asks Maggie about dullahans
Maggie provides the following information: “Are a subcategory of Death faeries, they live in places where death frequently has occurred, hospitals, battlefields and sights of particularly violent deaths. While in proximity to a Bann Sidhe the Dullahan are mostly harmless, aiding in the recovery of souls of the departed. However, alone they are very dangerous. Historically known for collecting the heads of travelers who wander the roads at night, usually drawn to places where highwaymen are common. Dullahan are usually seen riding a Faery Horse, on rare occasions they have been seen riding a Sleppnir or Nightmare. Both are subcategories of Bann Sidhe. I met a Dulllhan once his name was Ichabod Black, a Knight in the service to the old gods of death…”
and a poem: "Riding in the early morn robes a tattered cloak a torn. / Through Shadows Break. All the children who would not come to bed / the Dullahan rides, hooves Thundering for their head. / So rest now little children and go to sleep, less Kalf and Morg your soul will keep."
Blythe interprets this to mean they all need to go to sleep
