It's definitely not a criminal conspiracy. Or at least, not anymore. Thanks for the info, Lio, but not so much the drinks on an empty stomach.
I've been spending a lot more time than usual on the airship's bridge, ferrying people here and there in an attempt to get any available piece of the sub back in the Captain's hands. The first expedition I helped with got nothing more than bruises and ocean spray. I tried going back on old habits, and tracking down some leads myself, but all I found with my old methods was old memories. I don't know if anybody else had success, either.
I realize it was a big burst, but that sub was massive. I still don't understand how it could be so hard to recover anything from that with so many people looking. I guess I could try again later, rely on some of my other special skills, maybe even check with the Legend again. Anything but just going here and there for others, and doing nothing else.
Honestly, at this point I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to find anything in the seas. Then again, it's not like I can do anything else to help. I'm good at moving people and moving stuff, not all this science and engineering I've been seeing the others do. Might as well stay in my own flight path where I have a shot at doing a good job.
