Helgreg

Home to the only population within the Ormne System.

Helgreg is a mostly barren world dotted with pre-scream bubble cities that continue to function thanks to the dedication of its inhabitants. While the world outside the bubbles is technically habitable, the air is thin and very hot. The biosphere is also lacking, only able to sustain grasses and bioengineered crops.

Helgreg is also the only known location with Shadows and its people have pioneered two distinct forms of Psionics to deal with them.

Pacters are able to control and even summon Shadows while Hunters are uniquely gifted in their ability to find and destroy them.

These two organizations form the two major factions on the world. Most of the cities, except Burntwood, belong to one faction.

Helgreg has been approached by Fonian Mandate to join them, but have so far stood firm in their independence.

There are rumors of the Hunters and Pacters coming to some form of truce or even alliance in hopes of becoming a space faring world without giving up their Independence.
