Geography

The territory of Van is on a northern peninsula held by the Azeral Empire. The land mostly consists of Taiga and wetlands. In the southern part of the province, there are temperate rain forests that open up into deciduous forests towards the neck of the peninsula. The river Susgamau runs through the core of the peninsula allowing for the movement of goods towards The City of Ergutlu

Ecosystem

The swampy coniferous forests provide the The Azeral Dynasty with ample lumber supplies, furs, and a host of other valuable resources. The Taiga gives way to vast wetlands which host a variety of meaningful plant life for medicinal uses. The wetlands are also home to a significant number of migratory birds. The southern coastal temperate rain forests only add to the bio diversity in the territory, providing a selection of animals for the fur trade and medicinal herbs.
