Session 6: ACTUALLY Reaching the Peak Report

General Summary

The party stepped out into the top floor of the tower. A seemingly more lived in room with a half elven man sleeping at a desk. Ashley Benatar awoke him and he didn't seem too pleased at having intruders.
After avoiding as many questions as possible the party learnt that he, Alaion Caesilea, is working under Sight and that he can't share the tower's purpose. He shares some information about the books in the library's light as well as mentioning a plan to upscale if this test goes well.
After more questioning, the party seem to decide that Alaion Caesilea has been a part of a cult since he quit university. He is adamant this is not the case. He shares with them what he can remember of the potions that the group took. He seemed frustrated to learn that the group killed his Oblex, Adult. The party agreed to stay in town for a few more days so that Drostre Bassast's book could be reconstituted so that Alaion Caesilea can learn more about alchemy.
Sprig Silvertoung asked if he could help with their memory problem and he has agreed to look into it, agreeing to check in on the second week of every month. In return Sprig told him the location of the Abandoned Temple to the Five as the location where they found the ring, Perspective, Tribute to Knowledge. Alecto Ocreata showed him the slab and let him take a rubbing of it. The party did notice the blue flash in his eyes as he looked at it. 
He told the party how to use the teleporter to leave and showed them the symbol needed to reach the top again before letting Sprig Silvertoung know that the rooms aren't even in the tower.
Upon returning to town Sprig Silvertoung and Ashley Benatar head into the forest to search for a bird while Drostre Bassast and Alecto Ocreata set up camp. Bharash Marux stays in the inn for the night. 
The pair do find a bird, an Eclayoran Night Hawk, and begin to befriend it throughout the night.
In the morning the party does some shopping and then heads out on the road again towards the Monument to Loisia. On they road they meet a stranded noble whose cart has ran off road into a ditch. They help him and get 50GP in return.
The hawk returns in the night and the party feed it. Sprig Silvertoung does caution Alecto Ocreata about overfeeding the hawk.
During the next day of travel the party narrowly avoid a snare set up a bit too close to the roadand move it further away, unsure weather it is just misplaced hunting or a bit more sinister. In the evening they approach The Sleepy Tree Inn which is bustling with adventurers, including one that seems to have Sprig Silvertoung's spear.
They chase after the leaving group on horseback and quickly catch up, introducing themselves and offering to help on their quest for the spear as Sprig Silvertoung's share of the bounty. The group, The Bar Burners, agree and begin to head off trail with the party.

Missions/Quests Completed

The party fully investigated the tower and left Alaion Caesilea with advice/a mild warning.
