Fazeronians
Fazeronian: Fjaskymbrazí /fjaːskɪmpraːziː/
Faronian desa: Fazerol /faːzɛrɔːl~faːsɛrɔːl/
Dardian: Kataxol /khathaːksɔːl/
The fazeronians are one of the four dwarven ethnic groups of eastern Adynía, along with Dalindreans, Refonians and Dvarrans. They inhabit Fazeron in the western Zóken Mountains, a vassal state of the Kingdom of Faron, centered around the city of Skymbris.
Fazeronians are the most conservative of the eastern dwarves, with many seeing themselves as the true heirs of ancient Katargysía and pay little attention to their faronian overlords aside from annual tributes.
Ever since the founding of Fazeron, the fazeronians have long wished to retake their ancient homeland and rebuild Katargysía, but so far such ambitions have only resulted in occasionally raiding towns in southern Gysikan and sending expeditions to unearth relics in old katargysian ruins.

History
Fazeronians are descendants of the ancient Katargysians who once ruled western Gysikan, until they were overrun by human tribes invading after the fall the Paþarian Empire. They, along with the dalindreans, fled south to the Zóken Mountains, where they were given land in exchange for keeping the invading tribes at bay and share some of their knowledge with the faronians.Ever since the founding of Fazeron, the fazeronians have long wished to retake their ancient homeland and rebuild Katargysía, but so far such ambitions have only resulted in occasionally raiding towns in southern Gysikan and sending expeditions to unearth relics in old katargysian ruins.
Culture
Apparel
Fazeronian clothing generally resembles that of the ancient katargysians; a belted tunic, trousers and leather boots for men, long dresses and leather shoes for women. Clothes tend to be made of wool rather than linen, despite being less practical in the hot climate. They are often dyed with mineral-based dyes like ochre or verdigris, and those of nobles are sometimes elaborately decorated with metal plaques and gemstones.Language
Fazeronian spoken and written language is very similar to that of the dalindreans, though with fewer borrowings from faronian and features a slightly different accent.Magic studies
Though not quite as famous as the dalindreans, the fazeronians have a modest mage academy in Skymbris focusing on making magic staves and armour, usually done in traditional katargysian style. Among their most famous mages are Púral and Salkos the younger.
