Elithisyer

Northeastern continent of Aernoch.   Elithisyer doesn't have divided countries and is considered a beautiful frontier that is far less populated than the West. The continent consists of nine regions as named by the Elves, whom claimed the land as their own from the Dragon Empire in ancient times. As it holds Tel Ar'or, "The Great Realm of Elves," Elithisyer is referred to as the Elven homeland.

The Regions of Elithisyer

  • Tel Ar'or - Translated "The Great Realm" - Often referred to as "The Realm of Elves" by non-elvish cultures, this massive wooded region holds incredible beauty. Elvenkeep crests upon an eminse waterfall at the heart of this land.
  •
  • Surinya Tum - Translated "Celestial Valley" - The most populated region of the continent. Its coastal cities grew large as many from the West viewed it as a paradise and took aim to find their fortune in this place, which created a great melting pot of cultures.
  •
  • Tel Doldor - Translated "The Peninsula" - Typically referred to as the Elithisyer Peninsula, this most western region is lush; however, its mountainous slopes has made settlement difficult here. It's shape forms the Glistening Gulf between it and the Celestial Coast.
  •
  • Tel Ar'sim - Translated "The Great North" - It is the northern region that is mostly untouched by the Elves due to its colder climate. Humans have a strong settlment bred in its cold and claim the warmer areas as their own as they keep to themselves.
  •
  • Arael - Translated "The Heart" - Sparsley populated, this central area is a great open valley between two mountain ranges.
  •
  • Hardori - Translated "Southlands" - The southern portion of the continent that holds many ancient ruins. This region has a high mixed populous on its coast. The southern most tip is a strait that connects to Mornetharin. The large city Ordin Vas spans the strait.
  •
  • Naugtessa - Translated "Dwarfhold" - An ancient home of a Dwarven Kingdom that mostly keeps to themselves, although they often trade with the outside world. Cousins to the the Dwarves of Aethos, though the two don't think highly of each other.
  •
  • Jotunenrûn - Translated "Land of Giants" - A strange land in the northeastern most part of the continent. Massive trees and giants dwell in this cold and bitter place. Few that journey here ever return.
  •
  • Risa Islands - This collection of islands are considered part of Elithisyer; however, their culture is far different. Risa is its own little paradise that has a booming trade industry of silks, spices, and other delectables. It is considered the location for any trade point, which keeps the Great Canal of the Elithisyer Strait very busy.
