Kelheim

They are connected to The Raziim, but only loosely as they don't actively participate in anything strictly illegal. However, they will always take a payoff, and so make money as different Raziim families need to use their lifts to travel through the city.
They have deals with each of The Raziim families. With The Shade, they sell amulets that allow a person free passage on The Ascension, and they charge the Shade every month for their use. The Shade hand these to their high rollers and higher-ups.
With the Ishruza and The Herd, they take a fee from any large shipments that need to move up to the Sild and beyond.
They have a distant relationship with The Trench, as they don't interact all too often. The Trench doesn't use the lift systems all that often, lot of people come to them through the guards or people looking to get rid of them, and the Trench doesn't provide the money for transportation.
