The Sentinels of Knaeva

The Sentinels of Knaeva, as the name implies, was named after The Sentinels of Afrid, and founded by the once Valkan Prince, Algar Sondell mere days after founding the country of Knaeva. It is theorised that the group was named after the Sentinels of Afrid as a means of representing what the Sentinels once did before the The Divine Exodus, as they were the greatest guardians of life that mortals could ask for. 
The Sentinels are likely the most diverse military unit in The Continent, with it consisting of elves, dwarves, halfings, gnomes and even a few goliaths. This is due to people coming from all over The Continent, rallying under Algar to stop the invaders from the Oshal deserts. Because of this, the Sentinels also consist of the most varied weaponry and fighting styles, making them perhaps the most unpredictable force the world has ever seen.
The group itself is split into different sectors, utilising the strength of its diversity, with each sector being lead by a different commander. The current commander of the Sentinels include: Algar Sondell himself, Calder Echarlion the ex-bloodhunter, Bethany Echarlion Beaufort (Calder's ward), Annoxis Bauden, also known as the Boulder, Yenros Karden, hero from The Gauntlet of Kitzstadt, Kyra Lenthan, the fallen celestial and Damien Runnington, genius inventor and gunsmith.
