Bad Enman Anna

Valley of the Walls of Copper

Bad Enman Anna is the, largely considered mythical, mountain valley where the Araduns' settled after leaving the Hills of Aradu in search of a new home full of a 'strange stone' (Copper.) The location, if it truly existed, lay somewhere in northwestern Cutting Mountains according to scholars. Some even claiming this fabled land as submerged under the Arada Way today. The valley was said to have been covered in copper ore, exposed and in the countless caves.

The valley was also home to the naturally luminous Immaru Mushroom that grew in many of the caves. After the arrival of the Araduns settlers, the mushrooms spread throughout the valley, cultivated by the new arrivals as a light sourse, replacing the Nura orbs. Stories state that at the height of Araduns civilization the whole valley was 'as twilight, even in the darkest night,' thanks to these mushrooms glowing out of the caves throughout the valley.

In the north of this valley was said to be the dwelling of Girgungal the Copper and his mate Ereski the Seventh Sister. The two lived in a large cavern within their mountain. Friendly with the Araduns dwelling in the valley, the dragons would fly down and aid the people in their smelting the copper. With their son Dranugal the Smelter taking over as the 'people's dragon' when Girgungal and Ereski departed from the Valley.

The onset of the Aggelomachy saw a swarm of dragons attack the valley. Though the Araduns fought well, hope was lost. That is until the timely arrival of Ereski, returning to aid her beloved friends. She aided her son Drangal in holding back the dragons, until the people were safe in their lair. Ereski fell in the war, fighting her own children, giving Drangal time to seal his cavern from the outside world, protection the Araduns.

With the end of the Aggelomachy came the Na Boon Super Volcano eruption, sending the world into the Randagri Period and an age of ice. Glaciers covered the Cutting Mountains valleys. Bad Enman Anna was no different, with a thousand feet of ice covering the valley floor.
