Hierophant of Tvor

• The Hierophant is elected by a Conclave of archdruids and serves til death or abdication.
• While the Hierophant does not legally need to be an archdruid, they invariably are.
• A Hierophant may be removed by unanimous decree of the Conclave.
• The current Hierophant of Tvor is the 144-year-old Hierophant Oshenda III.
• She looks about 67 in human years.
• She is 5’7” with long white hair streaked with black tied back in elaborate braids. She has a largely humanoid face with feline accents. She has pointed ears, green eyes, and velvety tan fur with darker spots, going grey in places.
• Her sharp canines are larger than cats usually have, giving her a primeval, sabretooth-ish appearance.
• Her mother was a druidic aristocrat from an old Escatonan family. Half her mother's ancestry was her wood elf grandfather, from a distinguished family whose legends say their ancestors were among the first elves to colonize the Carentan Forest. The other half was her Cinarian orc grandmother. Oshenda's father was a weresmilodon druid from the plains of K'Shanah-Ch'rth.
• She has been Hierophant for 84 years and is widely regarded as one of the wisest people in the world. Her advice and diplomatic skills are sought after by kings and religious leaders from all over.
• Her fame has created a small tourist industry in the out-of-the-way Hierophancy, as well as interest in the wider kingdom of Dvin.
• She is both the youngest elected and longest serving Hierophant in Tvorish history.
• She is known to be close to both the Witch-Queen of Astrin (In the Nymeran kingdom of Baijan ) and the Matriarch of Callan (in the Nymeran kingdom of Baerwen).
