Geographic Origin and Distribution

Humans are prevalent across most of Anglence. Very few Humans are found in the Arablat area in the north east, and none on Valben Dur to the south east.

Almost all humans speak a dialect of Common, although many groups also speak a local language.

History

Humans arrived on the continent of Anglence in several waves. The first humans set foot on Anglence around 12 000 BCE, and waves came until around 11 500 BCE. Where the humans originated from has been lost to time, but it is known that many rival groups landed on near parts of Anglence and almost immediately began bloody wars. By 10 000 BCE humans were prevalent across most of Anglence and separated into several distinct nations.
During the era of the Dragon Riders, the human nations split, merged, and changed so much that any particular area changed nation on average every 100 years. This meant that for most of the inhabitants, they had little national pride, as their ancestry included so may different nations.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Humans, being the youngest and most aggressive race on Anglence, have had numerous wars against the Veldmathi and Arablat prior to the founding of the Order of the Dragon Riders. Following the founding, human have maintained working relationships with both species, although they have degraded since the disappearance of the Dragon Riders.
