Greensburg Council
The Greensburg Council is simply made up of the Governors of Brandywine, Totbury and Laketown. Each holds equal say in the overarching needs of Greensburg, but for most of the part the city is left to its own devices. In Brandywine, the governor is elected amongst the people. In Totbury, the governor is chosen from among the three families that runs the town. Laketown's governor is decided by the varying guilds that hold power around the city.
When the Straatan Empire fell, the Council saw their chance to break away from the influence of the Three Sisters, and instead joined the Grand Alliance, who were happy to welcome their distant neighbors. The carts loaded with food at a time where the Alliance was having a dangerously harsh winter surely helped the council secure a good amount of political power. The Alliance regularly sends troops to protect the great food convoys, while the Council is happy to provide great swathes of food.
